3rd ASSOCHAM India Quantum Technology Conclave 2023

ASSOCHAM applauds India’s cabinet approved quantum mission with an estimated allocation of ₹6,003 crore in the next eight years, with an aim to scale up scientific and industrial research, and development for quantum technologies. This mission will add India in the list of six countries to have developed quantum computers and have invested in R&D around quantum technologies. Quantum computing technology will contribute greatly towards creating the digital infrastructure for the country. ASSOCHAM believes that It’s a timely government initiative that has the potential to catapult India to a global leader leading in quantum research and technologies, if leveraged correctly. 

Quantum computing technology has potential to help India realize future expectations of various fields, including Manufacturing, IT, Healthcare, Pharma, ed-tech, finance, cyber security, research, and many more. Constant investment in R&D, autonomy, and hunger for new technologies hold the key to better prospects. It has become imperative both for government and industry to be prepared to develop these emerging and disruptive technologies in order remain competitive, drive societal progress, generate employment, foster economic growth and to improve the overall quality of life and to address the ever-increasing technological requirements for India. 

We at ASSOCHAM are glad to inform that after two successful editions of India Quantum Technology Conclave we are now organizing the 3rd Edition of India Quantum Technology Conclave 2023 on 5th October in New Delhi to discuss the industry roadmap on quantum computing technology adaptation, Commercialization, and future strategies of Indian industry to develop these emerging and disruptive technologies. The Conclave proposes to bring together industry leaders from quantum space, emerging technology Companies, research institutions, government agencies, Quantum Tech Startups and investors to discuss the opportunities in India and drive forward the commercialization and real-world deployment of Quantum technologies. 

We are glad to inform you that Dr Jitendra Singh, Hon’ble Union Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Science and Technology, Government of India has confirmed to be the Chief Guest at the event. 

We are also glad to inform you that Prof. Ajay Kumar Sood, Principal Scientific Adviser, Government of India has also confirmed as Guest of Honour in the inaugural session of the Conclave.
