The International Affairs Division serves as the front-end of ASSOCHAM globally. It is active in providing business intelligence, promoting networking, and business development opportunities to support the Indian industry\'s growth globally and foster international trade and investments for industry members.

Additionally, the division complements and supports the Government of India\'s agenda on Economic Diplomacy and Development Partnership in policy advocacy, promoting foreign trade and industrial development by facilitating foreign direct investments (FDI) and supporting balanced development of industries.

The Chamber is committed to helping its members enhance efficiency, competitiveness and expand business opportunities abroad through a range of specialized services and global linkages. ASSOCHAM has global footprints with MoU partner chambers located across the globe.

Forging Institutional Partnerships/MoUs with foreign counterpart organizations in major trading partner countries across the globe.

Building Knowledge Partnerships with Academic institutions and policy thinktanks of strategic international economic importance.

Presenting representations and advocacy meetings with regulators, decision-makers to uphold the interests and issues faced by Indian industry.

Supporting the Government with industry inputs on trade and investment barriers for resolution during bilateral and multilateral trade negotiations.

Supporting the Department of Commerce Market Development and Market Access Initiatives for enhancing India's exports globally.

Disseminating international business and investment opportunities shared by the Indian and foreign commercial, diplomatic missions, governments and partner business promotion entities.

Issuing Certificate of Origin (Non-Preferential) for the Indian industry in respect of goods exported from India.

Visa recommendation letters for members for facilitating business visits to assist them in promoting international trade and business.
