Power Distribution

Distribution is a crucial link in the power sector value chain. A strong distribution sector is essential for improving the financial health of distribution utilities and ensuring reliable, high-quality power and access to electricity.

The ASSOCHAM National Council on Distribution serves as a platform for industry to discuss key insights and recommend policy changes to accelerate the advancement of the distribution sector. The council pursues these objectives through policy advocacy, conferences, seminars, council meetings, strategy papers and consistently engaging with Central and State Governments, as well as Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs), to advocate for policies and address sectoral needs.
