The global pharmaceutical industry is facing a shift from chemical-based drugs to biologics and biosimilars. The India’s biotechnology industry – one of the major contributors to the pharma sector, comprising of biopharmaceuticals, bio-services, bio-agriculture, bio-industry, bio-informatics, etc is growing exponentially. Several positive initiatives have been taken up by the Government in terms of policies and schemes. The number of approvals in India over the last five years represents a robust opportunity for biologics and biosimilars.
 
ASSOCHAM is pleased to present an online meet on Making of Global Hub – Biologics & Biosimilars on 29th April 2022 between 3 pm – 5 pm under the leadership of Eastern and North Eastern Regional Councils. The meet is a one of a kind initiative where there would be expert views on strengthening manufacturing, research and development, innovation, etc. leading to further development and growth of the Indian Pharma space.
