CEOs Roundtable with Shri Jyotiraditya Scindia, Hon’ble Union Minister for Civil Aviation

As you are aware that India has been one of the fastest growing aviation industry in the world during the last decade and is expected to overtake China and the United States as the world\'s third-largest air passenger market by 2030, according to the International Air Transport Association (IATA). Government vision and target, priority areas are: 

1. Increase the passenger traffic to one billion per annum from the present 300 Mn. 
2. Strengthen airport infrastructure to handle increasing cargo and passenger traffic.
3. Cargo from 3.5 Mn. to 10 Mn. tons per annum 
4. Develop all Indian metro hub airports to have direct traffic to USA, Europe and other far of countries. 
5. Develop robust MRO industry in India
6. Use technology (Digi Yatra to make air travel hassle free and comfortable  to passengers and use of drone for mapping land ownership etc)
7. Meeting the skilled manpower requirement  especially in important areas like air traffic controllers, DGCA inspectors, aircraft engineers, pilots etc.

Scindia, Hon’ble Union Minister of Civil Aviation, Government of India has consented to Chair the Session.  The aim of the captioned Discussion is to share industry’s pain points and macro-economic recommendations which will help relieve stress from Civil Aviation Sector and ensure robust growth over the next decade.
