5th Edition of Emerging North East

North East of India, the vantage entry point for south east of Asia is among the fastest emerging business destination. The combined strength of eight states, namely: Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Sikkim and Tripura lie in its natural resources. Over the years several initiatives have been taken to strengthen the infrastructure, build upon energy connectivity improve logistics and champion the key sectors of the region – Agro Food Processing, Infrastructure, Logistics and Warehousing, Energy and Tourism. However, there is opportunity for raising productivity and enhancing capabilities and building the investment climate of the region with combined synergies of external and local regional partners. ASSOCHAM Emerging Northeast 2022 is focused on North East and aims to showcase the investor friendly policies, sectoral strength and the opportunities in the region.
