11th Public Procurement Summit

In the age of globalization, government procurement has evolved into a specialized field of work. A transparent purchasing process is necessary given the changing trade environment. In today’s scenario, it is essentially required to adopt the effective, responsive, and evident purchase procedures to overcome the traditional bottlenecks and to flourish the business opportunities. 

The General Financial Rules (GFR) of the Ministry of Finance, Government of India, serve as the foundation for the policies and procedures governing public procurement. These are a collection of general guidelines that followed by all government offices and institutions in India while dealing with financial matters. The General Financial Rules of 2017, the Defence Procurement Procedure and Manual, the CVC Guidelines, and all relevant existing regulations have all been included into the government\'s framework for competent, transparent, and accountable procurement practices. There have been certain changes in the past due to the technological advancements. 

Thus, with a view to clarifying many important issues and updates on procurement procedures that will enhance efficiency and transparency in Government Purchasing, ASSOCHAM is organizing the 11th Public Procurement Summit at 9:30 a.m. on 28th June 2023 at, Hotel Le-Meridien, New Delhi. 

The primary objective of the conference is to bring together various stakeholders involved in public procurement from different Government Departments, PSUs, State Governments and Private organizations to share the best practices and to discuss the critical issues of today and the future. It will be a unique opportunity to participants to interface with Policy makers, leading CEO\'s, investors, professionals, and the eminent speakers.
