National Council on Education

The Hon'ble Prime Minister's vision of Viksit Bharat 2047 recognises education, innovation, and skill development as key catalysts in India's developmental journey and the growth of a knowledge-driven economy.

The ASSOCHAM National Council on Education serves as an Industry Policy Forum and a leading industry voice, bringing together government, policymakers, academicians, think tanks, experts, consultants, and industry leaders to deliberate on education policy, institutional development, and emerging sectoral priorities. Through conferences, dialogues, round-table discussions, seminars, exhibitions, workshops, and collaborative engagements with leading institutions, universities, K–12 schools, and corporates, the Council promotes innovation, strengthens industry–government collaboration, and supports Startup India, MSME growth, and research-led development in the education ecosystem.

The Council provides a productive platform for amplifying stakeholders' perspectives on key policy initiatives, including the National Education Policy (NEP) and NAAC reforms, while addressing state-level concerns. It also plays a vital role in encouraging the adoption of emerging technologies in education, promoting public policy dialogue, and bridging the gap between evolving policy frameworks and their implementation across the education sector.
