Skin Care and Treatments

Skin is the largest organ of human body that covers and protects the body. Skin has many functions includes holding of fluid to prevent dehydration, helps to feel sensations such as temperature or pain, resist bacteria, viruses, and other cause of infection. Skin care involves more than just cleaning it and using lotion. It also involves having a healthy diet, getting enough sleep, exercise, and managing stress levels.

Skin care is the range of practises that support skin integrity, enhance its appearance, and relieve skin conditions. They can include nutrition, avoidance of excessive sun exposure and appropriate use of emollients. Skin diseases are conditions that affect the skin. These diseases may cause rashes, inflammation, itchiness, or other skin changes. Some skin conditions may be genetic Some skin diseases are minor. Others cause severe symptoms. Some of the most common skin diseases include acne, psoriasis, skin cancer, rosacea and others.
