Seminar on Developing Skills in Citizens

India is targeting to achieve universal financial inclusion by year 2047 through digital enablement and ensuring access for all population segments. Financial inclusion roadmap to Viksit Bharat 2047 as one of the most vital aspects of a person\'s life is their financial literacy and the skills every citizen must possess to plan their finance to secure their future aiming to encourage economic growth supporting to make our country developed by 2047.

Financial Inclusion is a powerful socio-economic concept that aims at making financial solutions accessible to the underprivileged, who otherwise may not generally be aware or able to enjoy these services at affordable costs and at touchpoints of their choosing. Therefore, awareness session on financial literacy and proper guidance on financial education plays a key role in enhancing financial inclusion by equipping individuals with the knowledge and skills needed to make informed financial decisions, navigate the formal financial system, and access appropriate financial products and services.

In this regard, ASSOCHAM Goa State Council in collaboration with Department of Urban Development and Goa State Urban Development Agency (GSUDA), Govt of Goa is organising a seminar on Developing Skills in Citizens Special Focus: Financial Literacy, Financial Inclusions & Financial Management on 29^th November 2024, at 10 AM to at Laximi Memorial Hall, Valpoi – Sattari Goa. The objective of this program is empowering the audience in financial literacy, build their capacity in taking right financial decision, to create secured environment in financial transactions, investment, to train them in protecting from financial frauds, imbibe the habit of savings among youths and women entrepreneurs, make them capable of future ready in establishing smooth business plan.
