Agri & Food Processing Growth Summit & Expo 2024

"The Agriculture & Food Processing Growth Summit & Expo 2025 is rooted in the Tamil Nadu Government's visionary initiative to establish the Tamil Nadu Agro-Industrial Corridor (TNAIC) across the delta districts of Thanjavur, Thiruvarur, Mayiladuthurai, Nagapattinam, and Tiruchirappalli, announced in the Agriculture Budget for 2021–2022. This transformative project aims to leverage the region's agricultural strengths by creating a robust ecosystem for agro-industrial growth, fostering innovation, and enhancing economic opportunities.

To advance these objectives, ASSOCHAM, in collaboration with National Institute of Food Technology, Entrepreneurship and Management, Thanjavur (NIFTEM-T), the Tamil Nadu Food Processing and Agri Export Promotion Corporation (TNAPEx), Government of Tamil Nadu and the Ministry of Food Processing Industries (MoFPI), is organizing a landmark event on January 3rd and 4th, 2025, at NIFTEM-T, Thanjavur. The summit will serve as a platform for key stakeholders from government, industry, agriculture, and academia to discuss strategic planning, investment opportunities, and collaborative frameworks essential for realizing the full potential of the TNAIC."

Event Highlights:

• With participants from various government, industry, and academic sectors, we anticipate a robust exchange of ideas and investment opportunities.
• We anticipate a public attendance of approximately 10,000 over the course of two days at the venue.
• Additionally, 700 to 1,000 farmers and representatives from Farmer Producer Organizations (FPOs) are expected.
• Around 300 food processing units, agro industrial machinery manufacturers and Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) will also be in attendance.
• The exhibition will feature 100 stalls showcasing Agriculture & food processing companies, FPOs, financial institutions, and other related sectors
