2nd Edition of Minerals and Mining Conclave 2024

The minerals and mining industry, being the source of precious mineral commodities, especially coal and critical minerals, across the globe, serves as the raw materials for leading industries like manufacturing, construction, power, automobiles, infrastructure, cement, etc and hence the growth of the sector is indispensable for the overall industrial development of the country. In today’s scenario, India stands as the major destination for the minerals and mining industry and is considered as one of the leading mineral reserves globally. Apart from the existing mining ecosystem, there is a significant scope for new mining capacities, especially in coal, critical minerals, etc which would lead to the growth of mining industry and would contribute significantly towards industrial and economic developments of our nation.

With this perspective in view, ASSOCHAM is organizing 2nd edition of Minerals and Mining Conclave 2024 focussing on Coal|Critical Minerals - The Future of Mining  with the help of senior government officials, top industry leaders, MSMEs, Startups, etc. on Friday, 27^th September 2024 at 10.00 a.m. at Kolkata to discuss policies, practices, business developments, management strategies, etc. to strengthen the entire ecosystem of minerals and mining with a prime focus on coal and critical minerals, then mining machinery manufacturing business and allied industries.

The objective of the conclave was to deliberate on government policies, practices, business developments, management strategies, etc which would help in strengthening the entire ecosystem of minerals and mining with coal and critical minerals in particular, then mining machinery manufacturing business and allied industries in the near future.

As part of the Conclave, we are organizing ASSOCHAM Business Excellence Awards to acknowledge and celebrate the achievements of Corporates and MSMEs and the best Business practices followed by them, leading to business transformation and sustainability.
