13th International Conference cum Awards - Civil Aviation & Cargo

India has been one of the fastest growing aviation industry in the world during the last decade, and was expected to surpass UK by 2025 to become the third largest aviation market in the world. Through its UDAAN scheme, the government of India gave a major push to regional connectivity of Tier-2 and Tier-3 cities by short-haul flights. However, the industry growth has been hampered due to the ongoing pandemic, as majority of the players face the heat due to increasing gap in costs and revenues.

The ASSOCHAM National Council on Civil Aviation & Airport Infrastructure is represented by leading Airlines, Airport Developers, Cargo Industry, Freight Forwarders, Drones, Logistics & MRO Companies and is organizing its 13^th Annual International Conference-cum-Awards on Civil Aviation & Cargo with the theme ‘Driving Post-COVID Growth’ on Monday, 28th February, 2022 at New Delhi.

We are pleased to inform that Hon’ble Union Minister for Civil Aviation Shri Jyotiraditya Scindia has concurred to grace the occasion as Chief Guest at the Inaugural Session from 11.30 am to 1.30 pm.   We also expect Gen. (Dr.) V. K. Singh (Retd.), Hon\'ble Minister of State, Ministry of Civil Aviation,  Mr. Rajiv Bansal, IAS, Secretary - Civil Aviation, Mr.  Arun Kumar, IAS, Director General of Civil Aviation, Mr. Sanjeev Kumar, IAS, Chairman, Airports Authority of India, Mr. Amber Dubey, Joint Secretary - Civil Aviation to also join this year’s Annual Conference.

This conference will outline prominent pain points that the industry is facing – pre or post pandemic – and specific solutions for the government to relieve stress from Civil Aviation Sector, make it self-sustainable and economically viable.
