The ASSOCHAM Healthcare Council serves as an Industry Policy Forum dedicated to addressing key challenges across India's healthcare sector. The Council works to strengthen collaboration between government, industry, healthcare institutions, and other stakeholders, while supporting public policy, infrastructure development, and initiatives that enhance healthcare delivery. It also promotes skill development and the continuous upskilling of the healthcare workforce to improve access to quality healthcare services across the country.

The Council brings together a diverse network of stakeholders, including the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Public Health Foundation of India (PHFI), Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), public and private healthcare providers, primary, secondary, and tertiary healthcare institutions, Primary Health Centres (PHCs), insurance companies, and other key organisations across the healthcare ecosystem.

Through strategic partnerships, policy advocacy, stakeholder consultations, knowledge initiatives, and infrastructure development, the Council promotes innovation, collaboration, and sustainable solutions that contribute to a stronger, more accessible, and resilient healthcare system in India.
