“We want to invite the world to Make in India, make India as the base for manufacturing electronic goods...” “'Make in India' will spur positivity & inspire confidence among manufacturers…”

 - Shri Narendra Modi, Hon’ble Prime Minister of India

As per the Niti Ayog Report of May 2016, India’s total Electronics Hardware Production in 2014-15 is estimated at US$ 32.46 billion. This represents a share of about 1.5 percent in world electronic hardware production. The domestic consumption of Electronic Hardware in 2014-15 was $63.6 billion out of which 58% was fulfilled with Imports. Exports were only US $ 6.0 Billion.

To make India a global player in the field of Electronics Manufacturing and to offset disabilities faced by industries for reliable infrastructure, Electronics Manufacturing Clusters (EMC) scheme was notified to provide support for creation of world-class infrastructure for attracting investments in the Electronics Systems Design and Manufacturing (ESDM) Sector.

ASSOCHAM lauds the Hon’ble Prime Ministers vision of “Make in India” and renders its full support in the Centre’s aim to cut net imports of electronics to zero by 2020. To discuss the future roadmap of the growth of Electronics industry and to make India as a Manufacturing Hub, ASSOCHAM, India’ Apex Chamber for Commerce and Industry, proposes to organize the 7h International Conference on Electricals and Electronics Manufacturing with the theme of “Inspiring Confidence” on Wednesday, 31st May, 2017 at a prominent hotel in New Delhi.

The main aim of this Conference is to increase the share of Electricals and Electronics manufacturing in India with the focus to set up SME’s and second-third line for the major manufacturers and increase Exports.

We wish to attract the investment from various countries by inviting their Industry delegations. On this occasion, we also propose to organise B2B meetings while projecting Indian States and other SEZ’s/ IT Parks as an investment destination showcasing their strengths.

On behalf of ASSOCHAM, may we take this opportunity to cordially invite your esteemed organisation to kindly support this International Conference as “Partner/ Sponsor”.
